The CratePlay™ Build Plate turns any compatible UbeCube™ crate into a buildable surface for creative play, display, and LEGO® compatible brick projects.

Includes:

■ 1 CratePlay™ Build Plate featuring a 43 x 43 stud grid, 1,849 total studs

Build & Play: Create buildings, landscapes, pixel art bases, vehicles, figures, scenes, and custom worlds on a large LEGO® compatible surface. The 43 x 43 stud grid gives builders more room to plan, build, and rebuild.

Display Your Builds: Finished creations can stay on the plate for easier display, photography, or continued play. Use the CratePlay™ Build Plate on top of a compatible crate, on a table, or as part of a larger CratePlay™ setup.

Modular System: The CratePlay™ Build Plate is designed to work with the CratePlay™ and UbeCube™ modular system. Add more crates, connect builds together, or expand into play tables, storage kits, and organized creative spaces.

My kids treat the table like part of the build

This is probably my favorite part of the CratePlay setup. The top is not just a table surface, it is more like another building piece. My kids swap the plates around depending on the story they are making, which is exactly how they already play with bricks. It just makes sense.

Surprisingly fun system

I thought I was just buying a play table accessory, but the Build Plates are kind of the fun part. My kids change them out like they are changing the world they are building in. It is a small detail, but it makes the whole setup feel more like a real building system.

Keeps the builds from taking over the floor

We bought a few plate themes and now the kids can move a whole scene off the table without destroying it. They will swap in another plate and keep building. It has cut down on the half-finished builds all over the floor, which I appreciate more than they do.

Fits well on the crate, and happy with the quality of the plate despite not technically being Lego. Not flimsy at all. Great for the kids playroom :)

Was unsure about the price but ultimately quality is good and have been happy to have the top of the ubecube crate in the playroom covered, and now showing off the boys' rocket on the moon :)
